This roaring 20's wedding reception theme party was a massive success! The bride and groom booked the Greensboro Country Club and they certainly did have the A-listers when it came to Triad wedding vendors to make this night a memorable evening for everyone in attendance.
I met Michelle and Jeff well over a year ago to plan this event along with their intimate wedding ceremony which took place this past May in Virginia with their immediate and extended family.
This party gave them the opportunity to invite a lot of local friends, co workers and some out of town guests and they certainly did throw one heck of a party. The attention to details is what also makes a party great and the event planning team with ABBA Design did an amazing job as always.
Being a wedding and special event photographer for 20 years now, I have certainly captured some special and fun events, but this party was extra unique as almost everyone that was invited took part in the festivities and wore some impressive roaring 20's type outfits which added to the vibe of the night.
I also took part and picked out a 20's photographer/reporter type outfit to add to the fun of the night. We started the evening with some formal type photos at the front of the club's ballroom foyer which allowed the bride and groom to take a photo with almost everyone as cocktail hour kicked off.
The speakeasy bar was rolling out the prohibition style cocktails and the night formally kicked off with some opening remarks and thank you from Jeff and Michelle along with some speeches from their kids. We then cut the cake, had the first dance and then it was full on party and dance mode. Mark with 815 Events kept the dance floor full the whole night and threw in a great blend of music for everyone to enjoy.
The party kept rolling strong and then around 10:45pm the last call and last dance were provided for the bride and groom to have one more song before the send off. It has been great working with Michelle and Jeff and their sweet family and always appreciate capturing special events, especially when they are genuine and fun individuals like these.
I hope you have enjoyed this sneak peek highlight blog post. I always make a point of posting some of my favorite images for my wedding couples to view and enjoy while the rest of the post production takes place.
A champagne studio preview on the big screen is next, followed by an album design meeting where we choose the favorites, put a custom layout together and have the booked printed and bound by my album company based out of Italy.
