Noah and Tyler celebrated their Bar-Mitzvah's this past May here in Greensboro at Temple Emanuel and the party took place at Starmount Country Club.
Noah and Tyler are cousins and I was called about a year ago to photograph this special dual family event. The Strasser's were wonderful to work with and this event allowed them to celebrate together as both of their boys are the same age and invited many close family and friends. We captured the rehearsal at the Temple with the Rabis, followed by some immediate family portraits and then prepped for the big party on Saturday night.
I was introduced to The Strasser's by their event planner Leigh-Anne with Get Streamlined Special Events. She and her team put together a flawless event at Starmount Country Club and was a success!
The event included tons of customized decor, a photo booth, fun games and an incredible DJ and dance crew which ramped the party up to a whole new level. The club offered many tasty food options for the kids and adults to enjoy throughout the evening.
The flow of the party went really well and the kids were able to play games in the main ballroom while the adults had cocktail hour and some chill time together before the party kicked off with the ceremonial horah dance and buffet stations opened for dinner.
As the party came to a close, we all watched a fun family slideshow of the kids growing up and leading up to this big milestone event. Smiles and happy tears were photographed as my assistant photographed and I worked the room. I always try to be in the moment, but not in the way which allows me to capture the special and sincere moments. This year marks my 19th year in business and have worked with many local families in regards to bar/bat mitzvahs, weddings and special events of all kinds.
