Congrats to Mike and Ashley on their wedding celebration which took place mid October at Summerfield Farms. This venue is one of my favorites here in the Triad of North Carolina.
I met this awesome couple well over a year ago which was a referral from my favorite event planning and floral team, ABBA Design. We scheduled their engagement session to be captured at Summerfield Farms and hit it off from there. The wedding day was absolute perfect fall weather and I was able to fully utilize the venue.
My assistant photographer and I captured all the last minute getting ready shots, the intimate first look and tons of family photos for the bride and groom.
I always love when my wedding couples are on board with seeing each other before the wedding. The first look photo opportunity is one of my favorites of the day and being able to capture those few seconds in time is very special indeed. Lizzie, the event planner, then helped organize the family and bridal party for the afternoon ceremony to take place under the massive iconic tree on the property.
Micciche Photography celebrated 20 years in the photography business this past May and really appreciate all the amazing couples I have worked with over the years. Mike and Ashley were right up there as what I would consider ideal clients. They were laid back, fun to be around and respected the artistic process when it came to photography. That gave my assistant and I more flexibility during the day and we provided dual coverage so we could always be in two places at once.
The decor and floral concepts were executed perfectly and we had a quick minute to capture the reception room before the guests came downstairs. The details are always a fun element to capture for the couple and also for the design team to build their portfolio of awesome work.
Ashley and Mike wrapped up their first dance as husband and wife and we all enjoyed a delicious meal from 1618 On Location which is the catering partner of Summerfield Farms. They are hands down the best caterer in the Triad and have been a massive success over the last few decades with the catering service and multiple restaurants here in Greensboro. We then went into the formal toasts and the DJ kicked it up a notch and kept the party rolling all night.
After a fun night of dancing and plenty of adult beverages, the couple had their last dance as the guests were outside getting ready for the bubble departure. I gave the bride and groom some alone time for the last dance and still captured a few sweet moments for them. We then sent them off in style. Congrats to the newly weds!
